Lee on Solent Tennis Club Wedding: Earlier this year Wendy called us about a wedding photo booth for a rather special day in August. Her son and his fiancé were living abroad, so Wendy was doing what she could to help get things organised and book suppliers.
Paul & Sophia’s wedding venue was very close to us and was held at Lee-on-Solent Tennis Club. We love the acronym version of the venue though, LOST Club.
Booth Butler Natalie rocked up to get the booth ready for a 7:30pm start. Complete with a heaving-heavy prop box and more photo paper than you can shake a moustache on a stick it, she was all set for guests to have themselves some funky photo booth fun. There’s a pattern that tends to be quite common at weddings, especially when children are amongst the guests.
First up are the kids. They’re curious as to what the photo booth is. They have no fear and dive right in. The resulting photos are then shown and shared amongst guests.
After this, the kids tend to drag parents and grandparents into the photo booth. Initially, they’re a bit timid, but more often than not they then go and grab their friends for photos. At around this point, just as the party is really starting to warm up, the bridesmaids arrive.
Those bridesmaids will then hover around the booth getting in and out of an assortment of pictures. They’ll be there keeping the booth butler company and will not leave until they’ve all had a picture with the bride.
The booth will pretty much be a free for all of the remaining guests after this point. That is until around 5-minutes before the hire time is set to finish. That’s when almost guaranteed, one of the Groomsmen will merrily approach the booth butler and ask if the photo booth will fit 28-people.
Obviously we’ll try and accommodate but usually, it will end with some smaller groups of the groom and his best buddies.
A massive thank you to Sophia, Greg and Wendy for hiring our booth for their Lee on Solent Tennis Club Wedding. It was a fantastic wedding to work at and we know how much fun you and your guests had creating picture memories of your very special day.
A big thank you also to the staff at Lee-on-the-Solent Tennis Club and ensuring we had the best spot in the venue.
Guests from Sophia & Greg’s wedding can view and download their pictures if they have the password to the gallery. Also, why not add us a Facebook Friend.
