The sun was shining, the cars were queuing and the parents were waiting. It was St Mary’s Stadium Prom night for Wildern School.
It was almost silent in the Mike Channon suite. I looked down to this scene from the bay windows knowing full well how loud it was and how much excitement was in the air. Chauffers of every imaginable type of vehicle queuing for the stadium front. Passengers disembarking to applause and cheers. Parents battling for position to get a picture of their children like a scene from an airport baggage collection point. Official photographers competing with Daily Echo photographers to get even more pictures. It’s a bun fight for almost everyone but the guests themselves. And rightly so too. These students have just gone through their final year of school and completed exams that have the ability to define their chosen career path. As manic as it all was, it all adds to the excitement and charges the atmosphere for a fantastic St Mary’s Stadium Prom.
Ready in 3-minutes
We are a preferred supplier for photo booths at St Mary’s Stadium. Everything was set-up in the daytime so that it could be opened later in the evening without any fuss. Within 3-minutes the Funky Igloo was up and ready to go for this St Mary’s Stadium Prom. At 8:15pm, on the dot, guests had finished dessert. From that moment on until the end of the evening, there was a non-stop queue to use the Funky Igloo photo booth. With a print made for every guest in the picture, over 600-prints were produced. Although everyone will get the digital versions, it’s nice to know that the actual prints themselves will decorate fridge doors and bedroom pinboards for years to come.

Congratulations Wildern School’s Year 11. It was fabulous being part of your St Mary’s Stadium prom celebrations.
