Wedding at Solent Hotel
It was a wet day in December when Ruth and Kieran called us about their wedding at Solent Hotel in January.
Ruth and Kieran had decided a wedding photo booth would be an excellent addition to the evening reception at the hotel. However, they were a little concerned they had left it too late to book a photo booth as part of the entertainment.
Funky Igloo
The Solent Hotel is a venue very local to us. We have a good working relationship with the team there. As a result, we’ve worked there many times. Ruth & Kieran’s wedding was being held in the largest of the three function rooms, The Hampshire Suite. Due to this function room having reasonably high ceilings, it is ideal for our Igloo photo booth which measures 2.4m high.
Set up at Solent Hotel
There is lots of space around the dance floor in the Solent Hotel. Subsequently, this was an ideal location for the photo booth. DJ Paul Mico was on the decks for the evening and he did a brilliant job as always. Between the glowing igloo and the disco lights, the room looked fantastic.
Groovy moves vs Funky moves
As soon as their wedding guests came into the room for the evening reception, they were pulling groovy moves on the dance floor or funky moves in the photo booth.
Our high-speed printer kept up with the crazy number of guests using the photo booth at Ruth & Keiran’s wedding. The guestbook was quickly filled with fabulous pictures and amazing messages. Similarly, the boomerang gifs were creating some very loud laughs. It was probably the result of some rather creative guests and an inflatable giraffe.
Somewhere along the line a couple of the guests were pulling the Solent Hotel staff into the photo booth too.
