Ellena & Mark got in touch with us in March about their Manor House Hotel wedding. With their special day being held in May, most of their plans had already come together. With a bit of budget left over for their day, they were looking to add something extra to the entertainment of their evening reception. That’s when they got in touch with us about hiring one of our photo booths.
The Manor House Hotel & Spa is set in the Surrey Hills just a few miles from the centre of Guildford. It’s a venue that was new to us but we certainly hope to work there again in the future. There was a great team working at the wedding reception and they had secured a brilliant spot for the photo booth.
Lee van Diesel was Booth Butler for Ellena & Mark’s Manor House Hotel wedding. Their day had gone smoothly to plan and the booth was set-up in the turnaround time just after the wedding breakfast was finished. In no time at all the booth was ready with the prop box overflowing. Lee said that there was a small crowd of guests obviously conjuring up their moves for the photo booth but were waiting for someone else to start things off.

Then, as three of the younger guests came to a halt from knee sliding across the dance floor, they spotted the photo booth. Over to the booth they ran. Diving into the prop box the photo booth officially started. Within minutes, the adults from earlier were waiting outside the booth, choosing their props and practising their moves. It’s strange that no matter how much practice is put in prior to going into the booth, it always seems to get a bit mixed up when the pressure of pulling booth moves for real is on.
