I’ve known Hannah & Alex for quite some time. Through our parent company, Solent Studios, I work quite regularly with Hannah in her very busy role at Destination Southampton. Even though Hannah isn’t a fan of having her photograph taken she wanted a photographer and a photo booth. I was over the moon when they hired me to photograph their wedding day and booked the photo booth for their Tithe Barn wedding near Petersfield.
The day started off quite cloudy. The sun eventually broke through to reveal gorgeous blue sky and sunshine by the time everyone had left the church. It was a little nippy in the air but it was bright, fresh and the wedding day love was keeping everyone warm.
After some delicious food from Vanilla and some hilarious speeches from the Groom and Best Man, there was a bit of a surprise. The two Dads along with Alex’s mum and sister lined up with some vintage 50’s style microphones linked up to the PA system. They went into a rendition of Frank Sinatra’s ‘Love and Marriage’. By the time they had finished, they had the whole room cheering, applauding and singing along with them.

The guests emptied the room from the tables to mingle and chat. Meanwhile, Booth Butler Stevie YamYam had arrived with the photo booth. It was set on the upstairs balcony. This is an ideal location for the photo booth as there is plenty of room for guests yet still remains within the party atmosphere.
Along with our own prop box, Hannah had supplied an array of accessories for her guests to use in the booth. In addition, Hannah’s guest book was fabulously large and left plenty of room for guests to leave messages alongside their pictures.
