Wedding at East Horton
Despite what many people think, August can be a slow month during the wedding season. With many people going on holiday, it can be difficult to organise a wedding on a date that suits most guests. However, that didn’t stop Shaunie and James from planning their wedding at East Horton Golf Club.
There was no lack of guests. When we arrived people were outside relaxing as the day was coming to an end with a beautiful sunset.
East Horton Golf Club
East Horton makes for a fabulous wedding venue. With open beams and a wooden floor throughout, you get that feeling of being in a converted barn. Albeit without the drafts blowing through. The main room has a long bar and balcony areas to catch some fresh air after hitting the dance floor. The wedding room at East Horton is located upstairs but there is a lift for easy access.
The team at East Horton is top-notch. Even as a supplier, you’re welcomed into their venue. They check you know where to set up, have everything you need and offer refreshments when they see a bead of sweat on your forehead. If a venue looks after a supplier like that, you know full well the guests are going to be happy.
Black & Gold
Shaunie chose a black & gold print design to fit in with their wedding at East Horton. We customised the print with their names and wedding date. They had chosen the Funky Igloo for their wedding reception. We were set up super quick and ready to go in 15-minutes. The start time was bought forward slightly so that guests could use the photo booth immediately. Shaunie and some of her besties were first in the booth. The moves they pulled from the very start showed off their photo booth talents.
The olds were having as much photo booth fun as the kids. A constant flow of people coming in and out meant the guest book looked amazing with so many pictures in it. As always, the messages being left were funny, creative, occasionally rude but always heartfelt.
